Die Handlung

Ārt House 17, an exquisite ensemble of singers and the comedians around Adrian Schvarzstein invite the audience to an exhibition about Frederick and Sanssouci, into which two groups of Sanssouci fans break at night to celebrate a rococo party. However, they did not intend that in the process they not only evoke the spirit of Frederick the Great, but also his lover Katte. Thus the king encounters his love, himself and the figures of the Commedia dell'Arte and the Opéra Comique, which he came to appreciate more and more in his later years in Potsdam and built his own theatre for them. The night at the museum will be inspired by compositions that all played a role at Frederick's court, from C.P.E. Bach to Quantz, from Galuppi to Grétry. And more shall not be revealed, because when dawn comes, everything has changed...
